She is a mother, sister, daughter, and friend, who has been physically separated from but spiritually together with loved ones for over 30 years. She is a long-time member of Handcrafted and Totally Special (H.A.T.S.), a crochet group inside the prison that creates hats and other items for donations, and is currently incarcerated.
